Auto insurance in Texas is one of the issues in the area that has generated much concern. This fact is what has led to the constant reviews on the Texas Auto Insurance Laws. With Texas being the second largest state in the US, there is no doubt that it generates a lot of traffic to meet the motor needs of its residents. Texas just like any other state has well stipulated and strict to be followed auto insurance laws. Every motorist residing in Texas has no option but to abide by this law, failure to which may lead to legal action with immediate effect.

The Texas Auto Insurance Coverage states that; the minimum body injury liability per person injured in an accident stands at $25,000, with the maximum liability set to stand at $50,000. The Property Liability damage related to the same stands at $25,000. This law was reviewed in the early stages of the year 2008. The changes came into effect as from the Month of April 2008. Previous the minimum body injury liability per person injured in an accident was set at $20,000, with the maximum liability set to stand at $40,000. The Property Liability damage related to the same stood at $15,000. Resident was asked to observe and comply with the changes which took immediate effect after implementation.
